With the rise of electric vehicles, customer needs at service stations are evolving. Today’s customers are looking for a complete mobility card: one card for fueling, charging, washing, and shopping. Extendas is responding with a new integrated charging card, fully connected to FuelOffice and supported by partners VARO and Road.
Retain and grow customer base
The new charging card enables station operators to meet the growing demand for EV charging, without losing their existing customer base. As a multifunctional card – for fuel, charging, washing, and in-store purchases – it keeps customers loyal, even as they transition to electric driving.
Earn from charge session, without investments
The key advantage of this solution: entrepreneurs don’t need their own charging station to generate revenue from charging sessions. Through Road’s (E-Flux) network, customers gain access to more than 700,000 charging points across Europe, including 100% coverage in the Netherlands. Operators can set their own revenue model, for example by applying a margin per kWh or offering a monthly subscription fee.
Fully integrated in backoffice
All transactions are automatically processed in the Backoffice. For customers, this means one clear invoice, regardless of where or how payments were made. This automatic process runs entirely via the Extendas BackOffice. The charging card is also linked to the existing Payter integration. Thanks to Closed User Group (CUG), terminals recognize these cards as well, making charging and payment just as easy as purchasing in the shop or using the carwash.
VARO as key reference
The Argos fuel card, issued by VARO, is already making use of Extendas charging card solution. This strong reference shows that major players are successfully implementing this expansion within their own networks.
